Ever wondered how to make the perfect chocolate chip cookie? Construct your own piece of concrete furniture? How about building your own drone? Here's a dreamland of workshops for people who like to learn by doing.
The Squeak Behind the Cheese Curds
Up your poutine game when you learn how to create cheese curds from scratch. The biggest factor in the flavour of cheese is the bacterial culture you add to it. Explore the importance of bacterial cultures and enzymes for making the perfect cheese curd batch, with Paul Gordon. He’s a bioinformatics specialist (whew, math and biology meet) who knows a lot about food.

Hack a drone into your very own Fix-It flying saucer through thermal casting. This workshop is pretty expensive ($200) but you leave with your very own drone! Led by the fabrication team at Carvel Creative.
