Where

902 4th Avenue SW, Calgary, AB T2P 3P3 (CPA Lot #6)

A Taste of That Thing in the Desert is a celebration of Communal Effort, Participation, and Radical Self-Expression through a festive display of arts, science, and engineering! Inspired by Black Rock City, Alberta Burners will bring a taste of that temporary city, and the context and principles of Burning Man closer to home. Expect to enjoy art displays, workshops, performances, dancing to DJs, and FIRE! Expressive dress and costumes are encouraged for this all-ages event with fun and interactivity for kids and grown-ups alike!

A Taste of That Thing in the Desert is a large all-ages public outdoor event held “annually” created by the Alberta Regional Burning Man Community in partnership with the Calgary Downtown Association as part of the Beakerhead experience.
